Check in – check out time

The reception is open every day from 8 am to 7 pm.
Please let us know your expected time of arrival, especially if arriving after 7 pm.
The check-in is after 2 pm.
The check – out is before 10.30 am.

Are the advertised rates per person or per room?

The rates advertised on our website are per room per night..

Do I need to do a part payment at the moment of the reservation?

At the moment of the reservation we will require a guarantee.
You can give us your credit card information as a guarantee or you can do a part payment via bank transfer.
The balance payment will be requested directly at the check–in.

Do you accept credit cards?

Yes, VISA, MASTERCARD and AMERICAN EXPRESS

Do you have the internet connection?

Yes, free of charge WIFI connection is available in all the rooms and common areas, you will find the WIFI password in your room.

Is there a luggage storage?

Yes, the luggage storage is free of charge and you can use it both the day of your arrival and the day of you departure.

Do we have 24h access to the hotel guaranteed after the check in?

Yes, with your room keys you will be able to get access to the hotel at any time.

Where do we park our car?

We are in the city centre, in the Restricted Traffic Area, therefore we highly recommend to re ach Florence by train.
You can visit the historical centre just walking and moreover the parking is very expensive.
If you decide to reach us by car we have an agreement with a Parking garage. Their driver collect your car from the hotel at the arrival and return it back the day of your departure or during your stay if you need it.
The parking garage will communicate your car plate number to the local police to avoid fines after entering in the restricted traffic area. This service cost from 24 to 30 Euros for 24h

The city tax, of Euro 4.50 per person per night, is not included in the room rate. This tax will be added to your final account and have to be paid at arrival in cash only.

Do you accept pets?

Our Historical residence is home to original frescos from XV century therefore we can not accept pets.

Is smoking allowed?

All our rooms are no smoking.

My child is 3 years old, do I pay also for him?

All children under 3 years old stay for free if using existing bedding. Maximum 1 child per room.

Can I change my mind?

You can cancel or modify your reservation only by sending an e-mail to info@piazzapittipalace.com
If you arrive after the expected date of arrival or if you leave before the expected date of departure or if you cancel your reservation over 3 days prior your arrival, we will charge the entire amount of the reservation.
In case of no show, early departure or late arrival, we will charge the entire amount of the reservation.
