History of the Palace
Piazza Pitti Palace is located within
Palazzo Nicolaus Laparelli Pitti, just in front of Pitti Palace, few steps from the Old Bridge and all main attraction of the old town.
The prestigious building that houses our residence is dated back to XVI century and belongs to the noble
family Laparelli-Pitti, ancient and prestigious Toscan family. The Pitti family, who commissioned the construction of the homonymous Palace, has always lived in this building. This is the reason why our building is called “Il Pittino” in the environments of Florence.
This large spaces, where important
noble Florentine families lived from XV century onwards, now house our Suites.
The
frescos, pictures and all other
historical items of incomparable value, made by
great master who worked in
Palazzo Pitti, will leave you breathless and will transfer you into a
magical atmosphere making you live a
unique experience.
